WHO WE ARE

Welcome to Choice Coffee Co Ltd, a company dedicated to providing high quality coffee sourced from small holder farmers on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Founded in 2006 by Rose Swai, a Coffee Farmer's daughter - Choice Coffee Co. Ltd is the first woman-owned and woman-run coffee roaster in Tanzania. Right from the start, we've always believed in supporting our coffee farmers and promoting sustainability practices to ensure the continuous availability of high quality coffee. We work with small holder farmers who use sustainable farming practices, such as Organic Coffee, shade-grown coffee, composting and water conservation techniques. We also work with our farmers to promote gender equality, providing support and resources to female farmers and encouraging their participation in ownership and leadership roles on the farms.

In addition, we are committed to promoting gender equality at our roastery and throughout our supply chain. We provide equal opportunities and fair compensation for all employees, regardless of gender.
